Welcome to OS Launcher ("we", "us", or "our"), an iOS-style home screen launcher for Android with custom themes, a built-in calculator, and an emoji keyboard. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.

        Our Promise: OS Launcher is designed to run locally on your device. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not collect the content you type, calculate, or store in the app.
    

1. Information We Access

To provide a functional home screen replacement, OS Launcher may access the following on your device:

Installed Apps: To display your apps in the home screen and app drawer and let you launch them.
Wallpapers & Media: To let you set custom wallpapers and icon packs for themes.
Device Information: Model, OS version, and screen resolution, used only to render the interface correctly.
Usage Statistics: Anonymous, aggregated data on which themes and features are used, to help us improve the app.

All of the above stays on your device unless stated otherwise in Section 4 (Third-Party Services).

2. Calculator & Emoji Keyboard

Calculator: All calculations are performed locally on your device. We do not log, store, or transmit the numbers or results you enter.
Emoji Keyboard: Emoji selections, custom fonts, and keyboard themes are processed and saved locally. The keyboard does not record your keystrokes, and any text you type through it is never uploaded to our servers.
Sensitive Fields: The keyboard disables suggestion/learning features when you type in password or payment fields.

3. Permissions Used

Default Home App / Query All Packages	Required so OS Launcher can set itself as your home screen and list your installed apps.
Storage / Media	To read and apply custom wallpapers, icon packs, and theme assets.
Notification Access (optional)	To show notification badges on app icons, if you enable this feature.

4. Third-Party Services

We use standard third-party developer tools, such as Google Play Services, Firebase, and AdMob, for crash reporting, analytics, and displaying ads. These providers may collect non-identifying technical data (such as device model, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data) under their own privacy policies:

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not collect personally identifying information on our servers, we do not retain your personal data. Theme preferences, layout configuration, and calculator/keyboard settings are stored locally on your device and are removed automatically when you uninstall the app.

6. Children's Privacy

OS Launcher is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
